The Central Florida Commuter Rail Commission Governing Board was established on August 29, 2007. The Governing Board acts in an advisory capacity to the Florida Department of Transportation during the first seven years of SunRail operations, and will assume operations and maintenance of the system in the eighth year of SunRail operations.
Osceola County Commissioner Viviana Janer is Chairman of the Central Florida Commuter Rail Commission and serves Osceola County’s interests on the Governing Board.
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer has served as Chairman twice for the Central Florida Commuter Rail Commission and is currently Vice-Chair, representing the City of Orlando.
Seminole County Commissioner Bob Dallari has served as Chairman of the Central Florida Commuter Rail Commission and is currently Secretary, representing Seminole County residents.
