The Central Florida Commuter Rail Commission Governing Board was established on August 29, 2007. The Governing Board acts in an advisory capacity to the Florida Department of Transportation during the first seven years of SunRail operations, and will assume operations and maintenance of the system in the eighth year of SunRail operations.
