Sanford, FL – The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal train derailment near the area under construction for the Sanford SunRail station, off of SR 46. The derailment occurred on what’s called a yard track, which is near, but is not part of, the main railroad line on which SunRail trains will run.
